What would Anne’s House and Nazareth House be without its volunteers?
In so many different ways, our volunteers help to keep our residents safe, warm, clothed and fed. Most importantly, we value our residents and welcome those who wish to make a difference in the lives of the men and women of Nazareth Community.

Community Service Programs
Nazareth Community welcomes students from local high schools; completing their CSP hours (Community Service Programs) and college and university course requirements. We are a warm and inviting environment where students can learn with supervision and support. Not only an enriching environment for the student but for our staff and residents alike.
“I have learned many life lessons through conversations wiht the men. I learned never to judge anyone until you get to know them” (Loyola student)

Raising the Roof
Part of the nationwide campaign “Raising the Roof” we raise funds and awareness for the homeless in our community. The focus is on solutions to homelessness.
Nazareth Community appreciates all donations of any amount. Every penny counts. $60.00 provides heating for an apartment. $45.00 provides a warm meal for our residents. $15.00 new underwear and socks. $6.00=2 bus tickets.
Thank you for your generosity.
